In the role of Senior Control Systems Engineer, we'll count on you to:
Lead complex control systems engineering projects across all phases-planning, design, and implementation Serve as Engineer of Record for SCADA/I&C construction documents, ensuring technical excellence Oversee system integration, including PLC/DCS/SCADA programming and HMI development Mentor design teams and coordinate workload to meet schedules and deliverables Develop innovative solutions in advanced automation, operational tech (OT), AI, and data analytics Write and edit I&C specs, select devices and technologies, and ensure code compliance Collaborate with multidisciplinary teams and clients on proposals, project scoping, and execution Review electrical documentation, resolve cross-discipline conflicts, and support construction administration Perform QA/QC on peer work and contribute to a culture of excellence What Sets You Apart: Passion for advancing control systems and applying emerging technologies Strong leadership in team coordination, client engagement, and project delivery Commitment to quality, innovation, and continuous improvement Ability to work independently and within multiple teams Entrepreneurial attitude with a drive to grow the Controls/Cyber business in southern California

Preferred Qualifications
- Master's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field
- Knowledge of advanced control systems topics including data management, artificial intelligence, machine learning, cybersecurity, network architecture
- Minimum of 15 years' experience
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related field
- A minimum of 10 years applicable experience
- Professional Engineer (PE or P.Eng) license
- Demonstrated leadership and project management skills
- Automation programming experience
- Experience designing control systems
- Experience managing control systems projects
- Knowledge of automation hardware including but not limited to Allen-Bradley, Emerson, Foxboro, Modicon, Siemens, and GE.
- Knowledge of automation software including but not limited to Wonderware, iFix, FacotryTalk, VTScada, Ignition
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office products
- Excellent oral and written communication and documentation skills are essential

The expected compensation range for this position is $136,000 - $193,000 and depends upon skills, experience, education and geographical location.
