As you develop your skills and build your book of business, there will be opportunities for advancement and increased responsibilities. * Competitive Commission Structure: Once converted, the commission will be 40% for new business and 30% for renewals. * Supportive Environment: You will receive support from a Business Development Representative (BDR) team to assist with outreach and cold calling. Job Summary: As a Sales Agent, you will be responsible for reaching out to business leads, offering quotes, and gathering necessary information to initiate the quoting process. This role involves a high volume of phone calls and emails, particularly in the early stages of building your book of business. You will work with both warm leads and cold leads. Key Responsibilities: * Conduct outbound calls and send emails to potential clients to offer quotes and gather information (over 100 calls a day). * Build and maintain a book of business through consistent outreach and relationship management. * Collaborate with top agents for mentorship and coaching. * Participate in a two-step interview process, with final interviews conducted in-person. Qualifications: * Any sales experience is preferred. * Personable and well-spoken, with strong communication skills. * Ability to work independently and as part of a team. * Must have a California property and casualty (PC) license.
