*Job Posting: Residential Install Technician*
*Pay Rate:* * $22/hr for residential install work * $17/hr during the training period (first 2-4 weeks) * Mileage reimbursement up to $100/week *Gas & Vehicle Requirements:* * Mileage expenses up to $100/week * Must have a vehicle that can fit a foldable ladder and inventory *Qualifications:* * Entry-level position * Experience working with hands and directly with customers is beneficial *Day-to-Day Duties:* * Installation and programming of burglar alarms, CCTV (IP & Analog), DVRs, and access control systems for residential customers * Installing window breaks, door units, and smoke detectors * Troubleshooting signal issues to ensure proper alarm function * Daily hands-on field interaction with customers at the site level and some smaller customer care levels * Testing and verifying signals for equipment * Training customers on equipment use, connectivity, and answering questions * Completing necessary customer paperwork for each job * Costing all parts used for each job before closing out with the dispatch center * Maintaining accurate truck inventory of products * Providing top-quality customer service * Achieving 90% goal attainment for completed installations and zero "go-backs" *Additional Skills & Qualifications:* * Excellent communication skills * Reliability and adaptive personality * Stellar interpersonal skills * Ability to think quickly, read non-verbal cues, and maintain a solution-oriented, customer-centric attitude *Tools Needed/PPE Gear:* * 6-foot ladder (foldable ladder preferred) * Screwdrivers * Drill (preferably an electric drill) * Wire cutters *Experience Level:* * Entry-level *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $18.00 - $22.00/hr.
