Within Azure Data, the messaging and real-time analytics team provides comprehensive solutions and a robust platform that enables users to ingest high granularity signals (real-time & observability) and complex data, converting those into a competitive advantage in real-time for both end users and modern applications. We are looking for a Principal Group SWE (Software Engineering) Manager for our team. This role includes the design of proprietary technologies as well as deep expertise in open source runtimes like Apache Spark Structured Streaming and Apache Flink. As the world moves fully to a digital world where data originates from everywhere and needs to be processed instantly this position will give you an opportunity to be at the center of that transformation. This role has multi-dimensional challenges, from building and operating streaming engines that have to process millions of events per second near realtime, to building innovative user experiences to provide these new technologies to less technical savvy users.
