The Director, Senior Counsel position is an opportunity for an attorney with a demonstrable record of professional achievement to join the Employment Law Team in the Legal Department of a Fortune 100 company. As a member of the Employment Law Team, you will provide the highest quality legal support to the Employment Law Team's clients, which include our human resources organization, our various business unit partners, and company management, on a full range of federal, state, and local employment law issues. BE PART OF THE CONNECTION Charter's Legal Department is looking for a talented attorney to join its Employment Law Team, a dynamic and quality-oriented legal team. This attorney will provide legal advice to Charter's human resources and business partners on a wide range of employment law issues such as performance management, disciplinary decisions, disability accommodations, investigations, wage and hour practices, and pre-employment decisions. This attorney will also develop and conduct training, and manage the defense of employment-related litigation. The successful candidate will be an effective communicator, self-motivated, solutions driven, a strategic thinker, and able to independently and effectively manage functional areas of responsibility.
