We are seeking a dynamic and adaptable Agile Delivery Leader to join our AI & Data Operations team. This individual will play a key role in leading, coaching, and supporting a team of Agile Delivery Leads/Scrum Masters as they work across multiple delivery teams. The successful candidate will have experience in building Agile delivery practices and optimizing team performance as the structure evolves. A strong background in Jira and familiarity with Product-led organizations and road mapping tools is essential. The role demands flexibility, strategic thinking, and a focus on ensuring Agile teams deliver high-quality results despite evolving team dynamics.

Key Responsibilities

  • Leadership & Coaching:

  • Lead, mentor, and coach a team of Agile Delivery Leads/Scrum Masters, helping them develop high-performing, self-organizing teams.

  • Provide guidance on Agile best practices, Scrum ceremonies, and continuous improvement strategies, ensuring Agile Delivery Leads/Scrum Masters effectively support their delivery teams.

  • Foster a culture of transparency, collaboration, and trust, adapting to the evolving structure of the teams and ensuring consistent Agile principles are upheld across all teams.

  • Agile Delivery Support:

  • Oversee and support Agile Delivery Leads/Scrum Masters in facilitating Agile ceremonies (e.g., PI and sprint planning, retrospectives, daily stand-ups), ensuring their teams are collaborating efficiently and effectively.

  • Support Agile Delivery Leads/Scrum Masters in adapting to team reassignments, helping teams adjust to new members and roles to maximize performance and alignment.

  • Ensure Agile Delivery Leads/Scrum Masters resolve blockers quickly and support their teams in meeting their sprint goals, even as team structures evolve.

  • Team Flexibility & Organizational Agility:

  • Help to continuously evolve the Agile delivery practice as teams are formed, restructured, or shifted to adapt to changing priorities.

  • Actively support the alignment of people, processes, and tools as the organization's delivery needs change, ensuring that Agile teams are continuously optimized for success.

  • Lead efforts to improve the team's adaptability to shifting priorities, members, and business needs over the next year.

  • Cross-functional Collaboration:

  • Collaborate with Product Managers and Product Owners, Business Stakeholders, and Engineering teams to ensure alignment and seamless delivery across multiple initiatives, even as teams are adjusted and realigned.

  • Serve as a liaison between Agile Delivery Leads/Scrum Masters and leadership, ensuring priorities, objectives, and progress are clearly communicated across the organization.

  • Performance & Reporting:

  • Monitor and drive accountability for Agile performance metrics (velocity, cycle time, burn-down charts) to ensure teams achieve and exceed delivery goals.

  • Ensure accurate and timely reporting on team performance, progress on deliverables, and key initiatives.

  • Provide regular, actionable updates to senior leadership on the performance and progress of Agile teams, identifying areas for improvement or support.

  • Tool Proficiency & Continuous Improvement:

  • Ensure Agile Delivery Leads/Scrum Masters are well-versed in using Jira for project management, tracking, and reporting.

  • Support the team in leveraging road mapping tools, aligning delivery efforts with strategic product goals and ensuring transparent, effective roadmaps.

  • Lead continuous improvement efforts, guiding teams to adapt their tools, processes, and practices to enhance delivery outcomes.

Key Qualifications

  • Experience:

  • Proven experience (7+ years) in Agile methodologies, with at least 3 years in a leadership or coaching capacity overseeing Agile Delivery Leads/Scrum Masters.

  • Significant experience in building an Agile delivery practice, including leading the establishment of new teams, re-aligning teams for efficiency, and optimizing Agile processes.

  • Deep understanding of Agile frameworks such as Scrum, Kanban, and SAFe, and the ability to adapt them to meet organizational needs.

  • Skills & Competencies:

  • Strong expertise in using Jira for Agile project management, issue tracking, and reporting.

  • Familiarity with Product-led organizations and experience working with product roadmaps and aligning Agile teams with strategic product goals.

  • Proven ability to manage shifting team structures and priorities while maintaining team focus and performance.

  • Exceptional leadership skills to guide teams through change, fostering a resilient and adaptable culture.

  • Excellent communication, facilitation, and presentation skills to engage effectively with both technical and non-technical stakeholders.

  • Certifications (preferred but not required):

  • Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) or equivalent.

  • Scaled Agile Framework (SAFe) Certification or other relevant Agile certifications.

Pay Transparency

Salary Range:$122,500-$210,000

Overtime eligible:Exempt

Discretionary bonus eligible:Yes

Sales bonus eligible:No

Actual base salary will be determined based on several factors but not limited to individual's experience, skills, qualifications, and job location. Additionally, employees are eligible for an annual discretionary bonus. In addition to base salary, employees may also be eligible to participate in an incentive program.
