The Reference Labs FP&A team is seeking a Senior Financial Analyst to support our exciting and dynamic business. In this role, you will be a key contributor to our financial planning cycles while serving as an engaged business partner across varying levels of Labs management. By leveraging strong interpersonal skills and using a collaborative approach to provide decision support and analysis, this role seeks to drive business results through highlighting key performance insights and supporting strategic business decisions. This role includes:
- Supporting period-end close processes, which may include reconciliation of internal accounts, comparing actual performance to latest financial outlook, preparing expense accruals and reviewing accuracy of expense information.
- Participating in financial planning cycles, including quarterly forecasts, annual budget, and long-term strategic planning
- Ownership of forecasting and tracking of global OPEX portfolio, including engaging with senior leadership on respective budgets
- Opportunity to interact with various levels of Reference Labs leadership through reporting and analysis
- Developing financial models for business initiatives such as product launches, geographical expansion and proposed marketing programs and advising business partners to ensure business decisions are supported from a financial standpoint is a plus
- Identifying and implementing process improvements in planning, analysis, reporting and monitoring of both financial and non-financial measures; leveraging information technology to automate, streamline and integrate processes.
- Ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures and audit requirements while modeling the IDEXX Purpose and Guiding Principles.
Keys to Success:
- Bachelors degree or equivalent combination of education and experience required.
- 2-4 years of experience in Corporate finance preferred.
- Proactive work ethic and a passion for learning and development
- Strong analytical aptitude with attention to detail
- Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines.
- Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
- Strong communication skills, both written and verbal.
- Flexibility and ability to adapt to changing business needs
