The Briggs & Stratton Power team is seeking a dynamic and motivated Marketing Intern to join our team. The ideal candidate is an energetic individual with a strong interest in marketing, and eager to gain hands-on experience in a fast-paced and collaborative environment. As a Marketing Intern, you will have the opportunity to contribute to various marketing initiatives, develop essential skills, and learn from experienced professionals in the field. #LI-DNP

This position will start immediately (after school year) and work full time, 40 hours per week, during the summer - continuing into the school year on a part time basis, 16-20 hours per week. The position requires the intern to work at our corporate office in Wauwatosa. The position pays an hourly rate based on year in school.

  • Social Media Management
  • Campaign Analytics
  • Administrative Tasks

Required Qualifications:

  • High School Diploma or Equivalent
  • Must be enrolled as a full-time student in an accredited college or university studying toward a Bachelors/Associates degree in specified function (Marketing, Communications, Business Administration, or related field)
  • Must have and maintain a minimum GPA of 3.0/4.0
  • Fluent in English and primary language used in area of responsibility and/or location

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Proficiency in Google Workspace or Microsoft Office Suite
  • Proficiency in social media platforms
  • Experience with basic graphic design tools

Additional Knowledge & Skills:

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Familiarity with social media platforms and digital marketing concepts
  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team environment
  • Excellent project management, organization, and problem-solving skills
  • Eagerness to learn and contribute to various marketing projects
