About This Role
The K-State Johnson Cancer Research Center (JCRC) at Kansas State University invites applications for a part-time, benefits eligible, term position of Event Coordinator. This position is contingent on the continuing availability of funding and the need for these services. The Event Coordinator will report to the JCRC Director. The successful applicant will develop, plan, manage and implement JCRC events and fundraisers including but not limited to socials, banquets, golf tournaments and races and office assistance. About Us The K-State Johnson Cancer Research Center is a center within the College of Arts and Sciences and provides an administrative hub for ~70 faculty cancer research laboratories. As a non-profit, the Center uses donations to provide cancer research awards to faculty and students. Worksite Option This position is on-site. An employee who is working remotely must reside within the United States in order to comply with all federal and state laws, filings, or tax requirements. What You'll Need to Succeed Minimum Qualifications: * Requires a bachelor's degree. This position may use an educational equivalency as determined relevant by a hiring manager.
