*Job Description:* The Lead Technician will oversee the removal of network cables as part of a data center decommissioning process. Responsibilities include running, labeling, and staging power and networking cables, and performing DBD removal (excluding scanning tasks). The technician will follow established procedures for preparing, installing, diagnosing, troubleshooting, replacing, and decommissioning equipment under the guidance of Datacenter Technician Leads. Tasks also include preparing, staging, setting up, and performing basic startups and shutdowns for hardware, following written instructions, checklists, guides, and standard procedures, with guidance from Datacenter Technician Leads. Physical audits of data center assets are required.
*Job Responsibilities:* * Monitor systems for equipment failure or performance errors. * Respond to program error messages by identifying and correcting problems or terminating the program. * Assist programmers and systems analysts in testing and debugging new programs. * Operate spreadsheet programs and other software to load, manipulate data, and produce reports. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $30.00 - $44.00/hr.
