We are searching for a Fraud Analyst/Specialist for a financial services client. This role is an excellent opportunity for candidates who want a career in fraud analysis/investigation.
*Job Duties:* * Monitor, investigate, and resolve fraud alerts and/or incidents, which may require contacting customers for more information to verify suspect transactions are appropriately authorized. * You will serve as a trusted advisor to our customers, taking proactive measures to mitigate fraud risks and recommend effective preventative customer solutions. * Responsible for making independent decisions including identification, investigation, and resolution of fraud cases. * Ability to proficiently use a variety of fraud management tools and systems to identify, investigate and mitigate fraud activity across multiple products and services. * Understanding of all applicable regulations to ensure any information provided is in compliance. * Makes recommendations on improved or new operational procedures which help mitigate fraud, reduce false positives, and increase efficiencies. * Participates in fraud related projects assigned by management. * Use critical thinking skills to make well supported decisions relative to the alert type and risk identified. *Qualifications:* * Bachelor's degree in relevant discipline is preferred. (Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, Crim Justice). * 1-3 years of fraud detection/prevention/investigation/analysis experience is required (banking experience is preferred). * Experience using fraud investigation tools/programs is required. * Experience with banking/credit/debit card/financial products is preferred. *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $24.00 - $28.00/hr.
