GENERAL FUNCTION

The Director - Marketing of North America Prestige Business is responsible for evaluating omnichannel opportunities to expand the managed portfolio into new regions and/or countries. This role will oversee the consolidation of portfolio analyses, identify regional and country-level priorities, and ensure brand goals and strategies are effectively integrated into the regional business strategy. The position requires strong leadership in driving business development, managing market execution, and maintaining alignment with corporate and regional objectives to maximize growth and profitability.

MAJOR DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES



  1. Strategic Portfolio and Business Development


    • Evaluate omnichannel opportunities for regional and country expansion.
    • Consolidate portfolio analysis, identifying opportunities and setting priorities for countries, regions, and COTs.
    • Support the integration of portfolio and brand goals into the regional business strategy.
    • Develop tactical programs to support market execution.
    • Assess regional ARAs, distribution, and growth opportunities in collaboration with the GTM team.
    • Define regional priorities for new product launches by country.


  2. Market Execution & Competitive Analysis


    • Oversee the management of sub-portfolio BBMs to ensure consistent brand positioning.
    • Collaborate with regional teams to align market needs with corporate strategies.
    • Monitor and report on competitive activities and market trends through SWOT analysis.
    • Conduct annual portfolio assessments to ensure correct positioning in the region.


  3. Cross-functional Leadership & Coordination


    • Work closely with regional and corporate teams to drive execution and performance.
    • Provide insights and strategic recommendations to the regional leadership team and corporate brand teams through business performance reports (MBR, QBR).
    • Coordinate regional product milestones, including market immersions, brand training, and distribution analysis.
    • Ensure alignment on global initiatives such as brand elevation and distribution rationalization at the local level.


  4. Marketing and Budget Planning


    • Drive discussions on annual advertising budgets to optimize marketing investments.
    • Support local brand planning processes, ensuring alignment between regional and corporate objectives.
    • Lead initiatives to support recovery plans and optimize business performance.


  5. Public Relations, Media & Education


    • Collaborate with corporate global teams to amplify key strategic brands and markets.
    • Provide recommendations on media investments and PR planning.
    • Develop brand training programs to support portfolio development and execution.


  6. Tracking Competitive Landscape & Identifying Growth Opportunities


    • Continuously analyze market trends, competitor activities, and emerging opportunities.
    • Maintain a proactive approach to identifying and leveraging business development opportunities.



BASIC QUALIFICATIONS



  • Bachelor's degree in Business, Marketing or equivalent experience
  • 10+ years of experience in marketing and commercial fields
  • 8+ years of experience in business development, sales, and/or strategic partnerships, with at least 3-5 years in a leadership role.
  • Experience in consumer goods, luxury, or fashion industries preferred.
  • Deep understanding of global business practices and experience working across diverse cultures

Pay Range: 165,052.80-243,145.60

Employee pay is determined by multiple factors, including geography, experience, qualifications, skills and local minimum wage requirements. In addition, you may also be offered a competitive bonus and/or commission plan, which complements a first-class total rewards package. Benefits may include health care, retirement savings, paid time off/vacation, and various employee discounts.
