Job Description Are you ready to take your transportation construction experience to the next level Would you like to be part of constructing a signature bridge project? Then you are in luck! Terracon is providing QA and QC inspection and testing services on the Chester Bridge. The Chester Bridge will be a new $300M suspension bridge over the Mississippi river located just an hour and a half south of St. Louis, near Chester, Illinois. The project site will be located in Perryville, MO. If you are interested in relocating for this long-term project, a relocation package will be provided for the selected candidate. General Responsibilities: Perform field testing, observation, and inspection of construction materials (e.g. soils, aggregates, and concrete) on large, complex, and diverse transportation projects. Communicate with Quality Assurance Lead Inspector and Quality Manager, construction inspectors, contractor's representative, and others as applicable regarding the construction site, project requirements, and testing, observation, and inspection requirements and results. Transport material samples with associated identifying documentation to the laboratory for further testing and analysis. Tabulate, prepare, and submit data and observation in the form of written and digital reports as work is performed for daily transmittal to the Terracon Quality Assurance Lead and Quality Manager. Maintain and clean equipment, vehicles and work areas. Adhere to strict safety standards. Essential Roles and Responsibilities:

The national standard salary range for this position is $21.75-$31.25. The base range may be adjusted based on the specific location of the applicant. Final agreed upon compensation is based upon individual qualifications and experience.
