(*in collaboration with AbbVie) About the Role: The Third-Party Risk Management (TPRM) Manager is responsible for overseeing and implementing Neurocrine's TPRM program, ensuring the effective management of risks associated with third parties. This is a business partner role that will influence risk assessment and mitigation for the company and work closely cross-functional partners. This role will develop and implement risk strategies and lead and coach staff on daily activities. Work closely with team leadership and peers to improve overall department efficiency and results.

Your Contributions:
Implements and oversees the process to conduct comprehensive risk assessments of third parties Implements and oversees the process to proactively identify and mitigate third party-related risks Analyze data to identify risks and trends, providing oversight and guidance during risk assessment and reporting Develop, implement, and maintain the TPRM framework, policies, and procedures Oversee the end-to-end risk assessment process and manage business relationships across the company as it relates to TPRM Ensure compliance with internal policies, regulatory requirements, and industry best practices Build strong partnerships with key stakeholders to influence and strategically manage the TPRM process Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including business units, subject matter experts, and internal risk groups Provide risk consulting in terms of risk assessment and effective challenge to multiple business areas Communicate risk assessment results with third parties and track mitigation efforts Manage on-boarding and off-boarding of third parties Provide risk related inputs for development of category strategies Conduct periodic third-party business reviews and maintain awareness of the external marketplace Oversee due diligence process for high and critical risk vendors Synthesize risk and performance-related data into holistic assessments of assigned third parties Prepare standard and ad-hoc reporting for TPRM and Enterprise Risk Management committees leveraging the current reporting capabilities in Audit Board Communicate effectively with senior management and the Audit Committee on TPRM activities Stay current on industry trends, best practices, and regulatory requirements related to TPRM Identify and pursue opportunities to enhance TPRM processes and introduce innovative approaches Lead continuous improvement initiatives and identify efficiencies related to TPRM and supplier management Develop and maintain KPI's where applicable in conjunction with the Sourcing team Lead or participate in supplier relationship management activities in conjunction with the Sourcing team Manage other procurement or sourcing team members, if necessary, on specific projects Other duties as assigned
Requirements:
Bachelor's Degree in Supply Chain/Procurement, Business, or Management required and 6+ years' experience in a sourcing, procurement or supply chain. Biotech / Pharmaceutical experience preferred OR Masters degree in Supply Chain/Operations or MBA preferred and 4+ years of similar experience noted above ISM, APICS or Lean certifications a plus Customer-focused with risk assessment, analytical problem solving and training skills. Ability to multi-task, and work at a fast pace with a high degree of accuracy. Comfortable dealing with ambiguity. Continuous improvement mindset to develop new processes or enhance existing ones. Demonstrated organizational, time and project management skills. Ability to work independently and accomplish goals with minimal supervision. Able to effectively communicate data-driven results and recommendations to senior leaders of all functions at all levels within the company Ability to network with key contacts outside own area of expertise Requires understanding of how the team / work area relates to other related areas and uses that knowledge to improve efficiency and produce high-quality work on problems with cross-functional impact in respect to TPRM Identifies and resolves technical, operational and organizational problems/problems relating to TPRM process and associated systems. Frequently works cross-functionally as the representative for TPRM process and associated systems. Experience in TPRM and the identification and management of operational risk Experience in category management principles, supplier relationship management and negotiation skills Advanced computer skills in Word, Excel, PowerPoint and AI ERP System expertise with Coupa, Agiloft and PowerBI experience a plus. We are looking for the best candidate for the job and encourage you to apply even if your experience or qualifications don't line up to exactly what we have outlined in the job description. _ The annual base salary we reasonably expect to pay is $130,100.00-$188,550.00. Individual pay decisions depend on various factors, such as primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience and skills. In addition, this position offers an annual bonus with a target of 30% of the earned base salary and eligibility to participate in our equity based long term incentive program. Benefits offered include a retirement savings plan (with company match), paid vacation, holiday and personal days, paid caregiver/parental and medical leave, and health benefits to include medical, prescription drug, dental and vision coverage in accordance with the terms and conditions of the applicable plans.
