Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Student Intern.

In this role, the successful candidate Research lab experience. It provides students with an opportunity to apply their developing knowledge and skills in a basic/translational research laboratory to better prepare them for a rewarding career in biomedical research.

Job Responsibilities:

• Assist with clinicopathological database
• Perform light wet lab experiments
• Records all experimental findings in a laboratory notebook, analyze and interpret experimental findings
• Assists with the preparation of figures and diagrams for presentations and publications
• Communicate results and collaborates with other laboratory members.
• Adhere to compliance and departmental policies and procedures
• Work independently, take initiative, and think critically
• Read and understand relevant scientific literature

Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a The student intern must be a full-time student, or if working in the summer months (Mid-May through Mid-Sept), must be planning to return to full-time status in the fall.

Qualified candidates must be able to effectively communicate with all levels of the organization.

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $16.00 - $20.00 Hourly. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need.
