Position Summary:

Command Cyber Solutions is seeking a highly skilled Software Developer - Design Lead to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a background in designing and developing data-driven applications for developers and technical staff in a data integration/syndication environment. You'll collaborate with data scientists, developers, analysts, and system administrators to provide an essential application and service for data management.

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and deploy new features.

* Clearly articulate design vision through mockups and verbal explanation

* Collaborate with all stakeholders across a range of disciplines

* Analyze complex systems for areas of improvement

* Experience creating user personas and designing intuitive interfaces

* Knowledge of full SDLC and/or Agile development

Education & Experience Requirements:

* Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science or other technical disciplines (relevant experience may substitute for education)

* Five (5+) years of demonstrated experience in web development.

Clearance/Other Requirements:

*US Citizenship with a Public Trust or the ability to obtain one

Knowledge, Skills & Abilities Requirements:

Required:

* Knowledge of programming languages such as Angular, TypeScript, Bootstrap, JavaScript, ASP.NET, CSS, HTML, SQL, JSON, Git

* Design: Figma, Sketch, Balsamiq, Adobe Creative Cloud, Microsoft Office Suite

* Solid grasp of information architecture principles and business processes

* Usability research and user testing

* Client interviewing and requirements gathering

* Knowledge and experience with test-driven development (TDD)

* Data visualization design

* Effective communicator

* Proficient in UI/UX design

Working Conditions/Working Environment/Physical Demands

*This position will be performed primarily remote with the potential for occasional travel
*Hours of operation are M-F between 0800-1630 ET
*Occasionally, project requirements may require temporary adjustment of work hours/days
*Duties are subject to change based on the needs of the customer
