Systems Engineer

ACARA Solutions and our client in McLeansville, NC. have a contract to hire position available

• As a Systems Engineer (Sr Systems Eng) for Undersea Maritime Systems, you'll be a cross-functional team member responsible for developing a test program for every system and subsystem requirement.
• Design and Qualification of electrical systems.
• Design and Qualification of optical systems.
• Electrical/Optical system design, including requirement allocation and decomposition.
• Requirements Lifecycle Management.
• New product development and transition to manufacturing.

• Bachelor's Degree in Systems Engineering or Science or Engineering or Mathematics.
• Minimum of 3 years experience as a Systems Engineer.

• Master's Degree.
• Agile experience.
• A clear understanding of systems engineering concepts, principles, theories, and technical standards.
• A clear understanding of requirements management and system modeling tools.
• Creative thinker who can grasp and apply new information quickly and handle increasing responsibilities with growing complexity.
• Team player who thrives in collaborative environments and revels in team success.
• Commitment to ongoing professional development for yourself and others.
