Description The Market Research Manager will be joining as part of Proof, a newly formed team within our business that bridges Marketing Research with Marketing Technology to keep our business connected to our consumer. The role of the manager will be to guide and manage the market research needs for our Consumer Insights and Category Team. They will lead a team that manages everything from unpacking the brief, to research execution, through to the delivery of final report. The Market Research Manager will be responsible to inspire and energize her/his key business partners to act upon the knowledge and insight generated by their efforts as well as lead a team of associates that will assist with the delivery of results. WHAT YOU WILL DO As a manager within the team, you will be responsible for both accepting project requests into the team and coordinating the who and how it will be addressed. This will involve managing and aligning with stakeholders to ensure there is shared understanding of expectations. While most methodologies are standardized and consistently executed, the manager will also be responsible for identifying new needs from stakeholders and developing new methods/capabilities to address them. Often this will involve collaborating with other pillars in the team especially in cases where advanced data engineering and analytics are required. Responsibilities: *Enable a culture that is anchored in deep consumer learning and understanding, and not simply about creating yes or no decisions. *Create story-led presentations with actionable business recommendations. *Leverage traditional market research methods with proven validity, while exploring newer solutions enabled by Marketing Technology. *Partner with brand pillar managers to monitor bandwidth, and ensure workload is balanced across the collective team. The Manager in the role will lead a team managing internal market research needs: *Leverage qualitative and quantitative techniques to enable rapid learning. *Development of methodology design/structure for routine market research needs. *Meta-Analysis of results, method design, and process to determine where methodologies can be improved through research design, software, technology, etc. *Guide/lead team of market research associates on execution of market research studies. *Review and oversight of market research projects, as well as final report delivery. The Manager in the role will partner with brand project owners on delivery of learning agenda: *Operate in SCRUM based team structure, collaborating with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure timely delivery of learning *Provide consultation and recommendations as needed on the purpose and benefit and potential methodologies given the study brief. *Consult with brand project owner on the interpretation and application on the output of results. You boldly bring the voice of the consumer into the room in a way that has a direct and immediate impact on the business, even when your points are controversial. *Thought Leader: Track record in bringing strategic thought leadership and contributing to the profitable growth of a consumer-focused company by uncovering behaviors and insights that result in breakthrough innovation. *Agile Project Manager: Adept with managing multiple projects simultaneously of varying nature (qualitative, quantitative, behavioral, secondary) - determining what's important and distilling it into actionable insights without getting caught up in trying to boil the ocean. Be able to challenge the norm and think about new ways to generate better and faster learning. *Creative: Demonstrated ability to think innovatively connecting the dots where others cannot when it comes to consumers to create business building insights. *Execution Driven: You flourish in a hands-on role, adding value at different levels. You will be working in a role that encourages faster delivery with information that provides 80% clarity versus longer time lines that ensure 100%. Qualifications *Bachelor's degree required, Masters preferred *Minimum 4 years' experience, with at least 2 of proven experience in Market Research Industry (client or supplier side) *Flexibility, strong work ethic, quick learner, excellent oral and written communication, strategic thinker, excellent excel, PowerPoint, word, etc . Handle a heavy workload with competing priorities. *Proven analytical capabilities beyond problem solving. *Prefer consumer insights experience from a fast-paced, highly-innovative consumer business, supporting innovation, brand development and strategy. *Prefer experience with designing and utilizing various research methodologies (quantitative, qualitative, behavioral, etc.) *Skills* Qualitative and quantitative research, Project management, Marketing research, Market research and analysis, Microsoft excel, analytical skill, Qualtrics, Excel, Python, SQL, PowerBI *Top Skills Details* Qualitative and quantitative research,Project management,Marketing research,Market research and analysis,Microsoft excel,analytical skill *Additional Skills & Qualifications* Needs to have people mgmt skills and the softs skills that come with that. Know how to take a project, break it down, and delegate it to team. *Experience Level* Intermediate Level *Pay and Benefits* The pay range for this position is $38.00 - $40.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
