Acara Solutions is seeking highly qualified candidates to work ON-SITE with our client in Broken Arrow, OK. Interested?

Here's what you'd do:

  • Develops and applies engineering design methods, CAD tools, theories, and techniques to investigate and solve technical problems.
  • Remains abreast of modern engineering concepts through personal learning initiatives and continuing education programs while applying this knowledge to assigned tasks when appropriate.
  • This position pertains primarily to the Mechanical Engineering segment of flight simulator design/development and is largely project-oriented.
  • Task assignments transcend several projects/programs simultaneously.
  • Reasonable accommodations should be made to enable individuals with disabilities to perform the essential functions.
  • Develops test plans and units.
  • Modifies designs to resolve definitions as directed by others.
  • Generates technical documentation describing designs.
  • Teamwork, involving close association with peers and management, is essential to coordinating engineering activities efficiently and cost-effectively.
  • Perform other engineering and non-engineering duties as needed by the supervisor.

Here's what you'll get:

Pay: $41.00 - $56.25 / hr.

Hours: 9/80 hrs/Week. (1st shift).

Length: Contract (12 months).

Job Requirements
Required Skills / Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's Degree in Mechanical Engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in mechanical engineering.
  • Minimum 3 years of experience in fundamental concepts, practices, and procedures of Mechanical Engineering.
Preferred Skills / Qualifications:
  • Detail-oriented.
  • Have good oral and written communication skills
  • Able to solve technical and other business issues in a logical fashion.

Additional Information:

  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen.
  • This job operates in a professional office environment.
  • This role routinely uses standard office equipment such as computers, phones, photocopiers, filing cabinets, and fax machines.
  • Work is performed in an environment where irritants such as noise from telephones, temperature, and lighting variations exist, but there is little chance of injury, accident, or occupational health problems.
  • Active Secret DoD Clearance
