Senior Financial Analyst of Accounting Operations (Remote Work)

STS Aviation Group is hiring a Senior Financial Analyst - Accounting Operations to join our growing Corporate Finance team. This full-time role supports enterprise-level financial initiatives, process optimization, and cross-functional projects. The position is based out of our Jensen Beach, Florida headquarters but is remote/hybrid eligible for the right candidate.

Reporting to the Corporate Controller, the Senior Financial Analyst will support high-priority finance and accounting initiatives that fall outside the traditional monthly close. This role acts as a flexible resource for ad hoc analysis, ERP enhancements, and enterprise-wide projects requiring accounting operations expertise. • Provide analytical and project support for strategic finance initiatives across global business units
  
• Develop, document, and improve accounting operations processes including reconciliations, accruals, intercompany settlements, and fixed asset procedures
  
• Execute and support accounting-related system enhancements and ERP module implementations
  
• Perform ad hoc analysis and reporting as requested by the Corporate Controller, CFO, and senior finance leaders
  
• Collaborate with cross-functional teams (IT, FP&A, Tax, HR) on enterprise-wide projects
  
• Prepare executive-level reports, dashboards, and summaries for management and project teams
  
• Assist with audit support, internal control documentation, and process remediation as needed
  
• Contribute to M&A-related tasks such as opening balance sheet setup, systems integration, and accounting policy alignment

• May serve as project lead on accounting operations initiatives
  
• Expected to work autonomously on defined project deliverables
  
• May coordinate with external consultants, system vendors, and auditors
  

• Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field (CPA or MBA preferred)
  
• 4-7 years of experience in accounting, public accounting, corporate finance, or financial operations
  
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP and accounting best practices
  
• ERP systems experience required; Acumatica, SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite preferred
  
• Proficient in Microsoft Excel; experience with Power BI, SmartSheets, or Velixo a plus
  
• Demonstrated ability to lead projects, document business processes, and communicate effectively with cross-functional stakeholders
  
• Detail-oriented, analytical, and self-motivated with a strong sense of ownership
