JOB SUMMARY: The Program Manager is responsible for the proper administration, planning, scheduling and budget for a grouping of projects within a designated market segment. Coordinates daily activities, resolves resource conflicts within the company, and resolves significant customer issues. The role fosters effective working relationships with Customer and Subcontractors and ensures prompt resolution of issues and corrective actions. The Program Manager is seasoned in project management principles and establishes and raises the high standard for the Company's project management model. The Program Manager instills a sense of ownership and establishes expectations for the assigned project management team. This position has the overall responsibility for managing the profit & loss for all projects within the segment assigned. JOB REQUIREMENTS

EXPERIENCE/EDUCATION: Bachelor's degree in Marine Engineering, Naval Architecture, or a degree in another technical discipline. 10 years of senior project management experience, and minimum of 5 years in a related marine, shipyard or industrial environment. An equivalent combination of education and experience is acceptable for the right candidate. Physical Requirements: The physical demands described here are representative of those that must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job. Must be able to tour all vessels, piers, docks, and work sites to perform the duties of this job. The employee is regularly required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle, or feel; reach with hands and arms; talk or hear; climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl. The employee must occasionally lift and/or move up to 50 pounds. Specific vision abilities required by this job include close vision, distance vision, peripheral vision depth perception and ability to adjust focus. (Ability to view computer monitors without eye strain for extended periods of time).
