Job Summary

As a Network Engineer, you will design, configure, maintain, and administer our enterprise-wide network infrastructure, ensuring high availability, performance, and security. You will be the top-tier escalation point for network issues and support infrastructure initiatives that impact the entire organization.


Key Responsibilities

  • Network Services: Ensure high-performing, secure, and resilient network services across LAN, WAN, WLAN, and cloud infrastructure.
  • Incident Resolution: Resolve complex network incidents promptly to minimize business disruption.
  • Compliance: Align network systems with vendor best practices, internal security policies, and compliance standards.
  • Firewall Management: Deploy, configure, and maintain firewall platforms for secure access and traffic visibility.
  • Project Execution: Plan, execute, and document networking components for successful infrastructure projects.
  • Automation: Identify and automate workflows to increase operational efficiency.
  • Monitoring: Proactively monitor and remediate network health and performance issues.
  • Documentation: Maintain accurate documentation of network topologies, configurations, and procedures.
  • Vendor Relationships: Manage vendor and service provider relationships for support continuity and strategic alignment.


Capability Requirements



  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field.
  • Five or more years of relevant IT experience; or combination of applicable work experience, education, and certifications.
  • Demonstrated technical expertise in network engineering, including configuration and support of modern networking platforms such as Cisco, Arista, Aruba, Forti, and/or Palo Alto.
  • Hands-on experience with Windows and Linux server environments, particularly in relation to network integration and support.
  • Strong understanding of network and cloud architecture, including protocols and technologies such as DNS, DHCP, TCP/IP, RADIUS, TACACS, BGP, IPsec, GRE, and cloud-native networking tools like AWS VPC, Transit Gateway, Direct Connect, and VPN services.
  • Working knowledge of infrastructure automation and enterprise management tools such as Ansible, Terraform, and AWS CloudFormation.
  • Knowledge of public, private, and hybrid cloud networking models and security considerations.
  • Experience using and managing enterprise network monitoring tools.
  • Ability to manage incident, change, and problem tickets efficiently and in alignment with ITIL or similar frameworks.
  • Effective interpersonal skills for collaboration across teams and with vendors, even in high-pressure or outage scenarios.
  • Certifications such as CCNA, CCNP, PCNSE, or AWS Certified Advanced Networking - Specialty preferred.
