GFT is seeking a Water Resources Engineer to join our Transportation team in Raleigh! This role follows a hybrid work model, requiring regular attendance at our Raleigh office.

This is an excellent career opportunity for an experienced, motivated Water Resources Engineer who thrives in a collaborative team environment. The role is to provide design support for water resources aspects of highway design, site and facility projects to include storm drain systems, SWM facilities, erosion and sediment control.
As a water resources engineer, you will gain experience and be mentored by experienced professional engineers and project managers. You will be asked to perform hydrologic and hydraulic calculations and technical writing to prepare reports and permit applications, including those for wetland and waterway construction, stormwater management and erosion and sediment control. Compensation:
The salary range for this role is $95,000 - $125,000. Salary is dependent upon experience and geographic location.
