Security Officer - Armed Aerospace

As a Security Officer - Armed Aerospace in San Antonio, TX, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Aero/Defense and more .

As an Armed Patrol Officer in an aerospace and defense location, you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remaining visible to help deter security-related incidents and provide a reassuring presence. This is an armed post, requiring you to respond promptly to incidents and deliver exceptional customer service and communication. You will work as part of a team that values agility, reliability, and innovation, always putting people first and acting with integrity. If the post involves driving, a valid driver's license is required.

Pay Rate: $24.60 / Hour

Job Schedule:

Responsibilities:

Provide customer service by following security procedures, site-specific policies, and responding to emergency situations as needed.
• Respond to incidents and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner.
• Conduct regular and random armed patrols throughout the aerospace and defense facility, including both interior and perimeter areas.
• Monitor for suspicious activity and help to deter unauthorized access or behavior within the location.
• Document and report security-related incidents according to site protocols.
• Collaborate with site personnel and law enforcement when appropriate during incidents or emergencies.
• Maintain a visible presence to help to deter potential threats and provide reassurance to employees and visitors.

Minimum Requirements:

• Must be at least 21 years of age for armed roles.
• Must possess a valid driver's license and meet Allied Universal Driver Policy requirements.
• Level III Armed Security Officer Certification required for Texas roles.
• Active Department of Defense Top Secret Clearance required.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent, or 5 years of verifiable experience.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Participate in industry-specific security training programs.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
