Engineering Manager

As an intern, you will have the opportunity to gain hands-on experience through various projects. Each day, you will acquire knowledge by performing tasks as directed. You will also showcase your expertise by supporting ABB's operations and enhancing personal education/employment opportunities.
The work model for the role is: onsite
This role is contributing to the Process Automation Business.
You will be mainly accountable for:
*Assisting project managers and project lead engineers in technical reviews and discussions with customers, partners, subcontractors, and vendors
*Support overall system design and testing activities.
*Support the development of detailed engineering documentation including: Single Line Diagrams, Power System Studies (Arc Flash, Load Flow, Short Circuit, etc.), Network Diagrams, Protective Device Settings, and Substation Layouts.
*Use computer programs to perform various engineering operations.
*Conduct analyses and provide related data and information.
*Motivated to troubleshoot and research solutions during the duration while working on projects.
*Attend training sessions both in person and on the job.

• Currently enrolled in a bachelor's degree program in electrical engineering in the United States.
• Intern must have reliable transportation to and from the worksite.
• Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without company sponsorship now and in the future.
• Utilize critical thinking skills to analyze complex situations and develop strategic solutions
• Effectively organize and prioritize tasks to meet deadlines
• Demonstrate the ability to handle multiple tasks simultaneously without compromising quality
• Collaborate with team members to convey ideas, share information, and provide updates on project progress.
