Job Title: Graphic Designer - PowerPoint Specialist

Job Summary:
- A PowerPoint Specialist Graphic Designer transforms complex information into visually compelling presentations that engage audiences and effectively communicate key messages. This role combines creative design expertise with technical PowerPoint skills to develop professional, on-brand presentations for internal stakeholders, client pitches, and corporate communications.
Responsibilities:
- Design visually striking PowerPoint presentations that align with brand guidelines and enhance message delivery.
- Transform complex data into clear, visually appealing charts, graphs, and infographics
- Develop custom templates, master slides, and consistent design systems for presentations
- Collaborate with content creators, executives, and subject matter experts to understand presentation goals.
- Optimize presentations for different delivery methods (in-person, virtual, self-guided)
- Enhance existing presentations through visual redesign and content reorganization
- Create custom graphics, icons, and visual elements specifically for PowerPoint use
- Ensure presentations are accessible and function properly across different devices
- Stay current with PowerPoint features and presentation design best practices
- Manage multiple projects with competing deadlines while maintaining quality standards
Qualifications:
- Formal training in Graphic Design, Visual Communication, or related field.
- 2+ years of experience in presentation design, preferably in a corporate environment.
- Portfolio demonstrating strong PowerPoint design work - would like to see portfolio first.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft PowerPoint and its capabilities.
- Proficiency with Adobe Creative Suite (particularly Illustrator and Photoshop).
- Understanding of typography, color theory, layout principles, and information design.
- Experience with data visualization and infographic creation.
Skills
- Expert-level PowerPoint skills including animation, master slides, and templates.
- Strong visual design abilities and attention to detail.
- Excellent information design and data visualization capabilities.
- Ability to transform complex concepts into simple visual stories.
- Strong communication skills and ability to receive and implement feedback.
- Time management and ability to work under tight deadlines.
- Problem-solving mindset and creative thinking.
- Understanding of presentation fundamentals and audience engagement.
- Knowledge of accessibility standards for presentations.
- Familiarity with presentation delivery platforms beyond PowerPoint (Keynote, Google Slides).
