Provide guidance leading Six Sigma and Lean structured problem-solving methodologies, the use of quality tools, project management, team dynamics, and process monitoring. Support advanced product quality planning (APQP) by ensuring quality standard work for new products and processes. Analyze data and perform design reviews to create acceptance criteria, specifications, and control limits for production, components, and manufacturing. Serve as a Lean change agent in building and institutionalizing FMEA, Quality Control Plans, SPC, FAI, PPAP, and Product/Process capability. Maintain and continually improve Quality Management System compliance to ISO 9001:2015 standard; Lead and facilitate support to external quality system auditors, and lead/participate in process and product quality audits and resulting actions. Facilitate coaching, training and development for a team of Quality Technicians. Work collaboratively with team leads, supervisors, manufacturing, lean, design, sales, customer service, materials, procurement, HR, maintenance and other cross functional teams as a quality leader to ensure production lines produce high quality products that meet customer requirements following process and procedures. Define containment and disposition criteria based on quality requirements. Define and establish in-process quality control tasks to ensure manufacturing capability and product reliability. Strong understanding of engineering fundamentals, lean methodologies and ability to apply them towards manufacturing quality
YOU HAVE:
Bachelor's Degree in a relevant engineering field in any STEM program is required Ideally 6+ years working experience in Manufacturing or Quality processes Ideally 3+ years leading cross-functional problem solving teams and customer-facing functions Previous experience managing direct reports Quality Certifications (e.g. CQE, CMQ, or CQA) and ISO 9001:2015 Internal Auditor/ Lead Auditor trained a plus Ability to lead simultaneous projects/tasks along with the ability to work in a fast paced team environment in a self-directed manner. nVent's pay scale is based on the expected range of base pay for this job and the employee's work location. Employee pay within this range will be based on a combination of factors including knowledge, skills, abilities, experience, education, and performance. Where federal, state, or local minimum wage requirements exist, employee pay will comply.
Compensation Range: $89,300.00 - $165,800.00
