A trusted, local company is looking for a Technician Helper to join our team! If you're ready to roll up your sleeves and dive into the skilled trades, this is your chance to learn from experienced professionals and gain hands-on experience servicing all makes and models of trailers. You'll assist with everything from inspections and maintenance to repairs and welding. Additional tasks consist of high-quality work including frame jobs, alignments, brake service, door repairs, DOT inspections, and more. Schedule: 8am - 5pm, Monday - Friday Pay: $15/hr. Key Responsibilities: Help inspect and repair tractor trailers Assist with routine maintenance and safety checks Support welding, rebuilding, and parts replacement Keep the shop clean and organized Follow safety standards and support compliance with DOT, OSHA, and EPA Qualifications: 3-5 years of experience - Conduct routine inspections, maintenance, and repairs on trailer equipment Basic knowledge of trailer repair and mechanics Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work on your feet Basic computer skills Welding experience a plus Must bring own hand tools Our benefits include medical, dental, and vision insurance, life insurance, short-term disability, 401k plans, weekly pay, referral bonus potential, employee discount programs, unmatched professional development, and more!
