Your new role

As our new Atmospheric Scientist Consultant, you will be part of our interdisciplinary team in Air Sciences. You will work with all levels of expertise from entry level team members to members with decades of experience, many of whom are subject matter experts in their fields. Consultants and Managers are part of a continual learning environment where they learn through coaching, mentoring and on-the-job tasks. The duties of the position include:

Your key responsibilities will be:

  • Air Quality data analysis, with a focus related to air monitoring data
  • Conduct site visits to perform routine maintenance, calibrate equipment, or troubleshoot malfunctioning equipment
  • Perform quality assurance (QA) review and data validation for air quality monitoring data
  • Assist with air monitoring quarterly and annual reports and corrective action reports
  • Assist with air monitoring site installation and Quality Assurance Project Plans (QAPPs)
  • MeetingRambolland client safety training and workplace safety requirements
  • Actively participating in a growing network of Ramboll sustainability practitioners that span our services across environment/health, energy, and water

About you

  • B.S./M.S. degree in relevant science (environmental, atmospheric) or engineering discipline (chemical, environmental, civil, or similar)
  • 2+ years of Air Sciences experience with a focus in Air Monitoring Systems (in a consulting environment is preferred)
  • Proficiency in air monitoring equipment operation and maintenance
  • Strong computing skills including application of MS excel and Loggernet
  • Knowledge of air monitoring technologies and air pollution science
  • Excellent written/verbal communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills
  • Flexibility and adaptability to work effectively with multiple project deadlines, prioritizing projects, and delivering quality work products on tight timelines

At Ramboll, your base pay is only part of your overall total compensation package. At the time of this posting, this role is likely to be compensated at an annualbase salary between $68,730 - $85,913. Actual pay may be more or less than the posted range, depending on numerous factors, includingexperience, geographical location, internal equity, market conditions, education/training andskill level, and does not include bonuses, overtime, or other forms of compensation or benefits.
