Overview

Responsible for Conducting a range of courses from starter, base-line programs to advanced levels. Works with SME to create/maintain classroom learning materials and review of other training projects.


Responsibilities

  • Conduct formal technical training classes in a training center or field classes. This includes maintenance of student records and student evaluations.
  • Effectively work with a team to create and implement new technical training programs and materials, or update existing programs as required
  • Maintain high level of product and technology knowledge. Must continually learn and update the skill set.
  • Follow prescribed processes and procedures. Adhere to schedules and meet all deadlines.
  • Identify urgent situations that require additional actions and escalate technical issues or information promptly.
  • Perform projects and tasks assigned.

Qualifications

  • Technical School Diploma. College degree in a related field preferred.
  • 2-4 years of technical professional experience.
  • Experienced in teaching some courses or similar to the following:
    • Digital Prduct classes
    • Copier and printer theory such as dis-assembly, reassembly and adjustments.
    • Computer-related courses. For instance, on topics as print controllers and networking.
  • A+, N+ and Security+ certification preferred
  • Excellent verbal and written communication and presentation skills.
  • Capable of communicating technical data clearly and professionally with staff and students; convey technical information in an easily understood manner. Able to relate to both technical and sales audiences in a professional, personable and persuasive manner.
  • Knowledge of networking infrastructure, operating systems, authentication, and troubleshooting preferred.
  • Strong working knowledge of industry, KM Products, services and solutions offerings.
  • Strong hardware and software computer expertise. Including network and software/solutions knowledge.
  • Strong technical background especially in digital/connected products, electronics, strong color workflow and process workflow knowledge.
  • Intermediate level of MS Office skills (Word, PowerPoint and Excel).
  • Proficient with Adobe CS, and Acrobat skills.
  • Proficiency in time management and organizational discipline
  • Demonstrated troubleshooting skills in complex environments.
  • Strong sense of responsibility, self-motivated, able to work under pressure and tight deadlines.
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment.
  • Readiness to accept, and adapt quickly to change.
  • High degree of self-motivation to succeed and effectively manage multiple tasks.
