JOB DESCRIPTION AND POSITION REQUIREMENTS: The Penn State Alumni Association seeks a highly organized, self-motivated, caring, and detail-oriented Administrative Support Assistant to join its Engagement Team. The Engagement Team of the Alumni Association develops and implements a broad range of programs and services that facilitate the connection of alumni and students to each other and the University, and consists of the following areas: Alumni Events, Alumni Travel, Alumni Career Services, Volunteer Engagement, and Volunteer Training and Education. The position offers an opportunity to join an energetic, collaborative group responsible for engagement activities for the largest dues-paying alumni association, serving about 173,000 members, 775,000 alumni worldwide, and nearly 280 affiliate groups. The successful candidate will report to the Office Manager and work closely with a team of over 20 staff members, alumni, leaders, volunteers, student groups, and the Penn State community. This role will assist with events, and some evenings and weekends are required. The successful candidate must have a high school diploma, GED, or equivalent, plus two or more years of relevant experience or an equivalent combination of education and experience.
