General Summary:

The Solutions Architect - Managed Services is a strategic role within the Global Managed Services team responsible for developing and presenting complex contractual agreements for Managed AV Services, QSR Services, and Drive Thru Managed Services. This position leads the entire deal lifecycle from customer assessment through solution development, risk management, pricing strategy, contract negotiation, and transition to delivery. The Solutions Architect - Managed Services combines strong business acumen with technical understanding to create compelling value propositions that drive strategic long-term partnerships ranging from $5K - $10MM+ in contract value.

Essential Job Functions and Responsibilities:

  • Develop contractual Managed services including Managed AV Services, QSR Services and Drive Thru Managed Services, that drive strategic long-term value for our customers
  • Lead engagements throughout the deal lifecycle: customer assessment, solution development, risk assessment, deal pricing, and transition to delivery after deal closure
  • Owns Managed Services opportunity qualification, ROI Approval
  • Collaborates with senior account team to contribute to business planning activities and development of pursuit strategies
  • Holds accountability for the entire deal pursuit, covering project planning, assessment, solution, pricing, and business decisions
  • Design, Solution, Price and deliver customer proposal of all Mood Managed Solutions
  • Leads contract/price negotiations with key partners and facilitates cross-functional discussions to drive successful outcomes
  • Defines and presents the business case and value proposition in alignment with the customer's needs and the organization's capabilities
  • Demonstrates expertise in understanding acceptable decisions, pricing calculations, and delivery capabilities
  • Understands financial models, ROI calculations, and profit implications for different solution approaches
  • Monitors and analyzes competitor activities and adjusts strategies to maintain a competitive edge
  • Communicates with both internal and external stakeholders, leading sales presentations and driving the sales process
  • Interacts with internal and external teams to create proposals and respond to requests for proposals (RFPs)
  • Applies program/project management methods and processes to define, plan, track, and escalate to ensure successful pursuits
  • Ensures that services scope, pricing and terms / conditions set forth in contractual documents align with approved financials
  • Other duties as assigned by management

Required Travel:

Essential Job Qualifications::

Bachelors degree in Sales, Marketing, Business Administration or other related discipline; 7-10 years work experience in Sales, Business Development or related field.

Knowledge/Skills/Abilities:

  • Knowledge of corporate policies, products, market and processes
  • Understanding of business management principals and practices
  • Strong understanding of the full Sales process: Sales Prospecting, Presales, Sales Operations
  • Ability to work with and negotiate contracts along with complex deal pursuits and engagement
  • Able to manage time effectively
  • Strong understanding of financial principles, Software as a Service (SaaS), IT Services and Service Management, Business requirements and Solution Architecture practices
  • Strong understanding of internal processes, tools and usage of such tools in managing daily tasks
  • Organizational skills to manage workflow and tasks
  • Ability to participate or lead in projects for process, tools or quality improvement
  • Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills
  • Strong communication and interpersonal abilities
  • Proficiency working in Oracle or Salesforce / Quoting Tool
  • Ability to work independently and in a team environment
