Job Overview
Reports to: Aerospace Paint Masker Reports to: Value Stream Manager, Shift Supervisor Location: Kent, WA Type: Full Time, Non-Exempt (hourly) Schedule: 3rd Shift; Training on 1st Shift Hytek production is open 24 hours per day. All shifts are as follows: 1st shift (Monday - Friday, 6:00 a.m. - 2:30 p.m.), 2nd shift (Monday - Friday, 2:00 p.m. - 10:30 p.m.), 3rd shift (Sunday - Friday, 10:00 p.m. - 6:30 a.m.) Job Summary Employees in this position will apply a variety of maskants to parts in preparation for paint application. Maskers may be required to join the Federal Aviation Administration (FAA) DOT Drug & Alcohol Testing Program*. Maskers perform operations in accordance with Military and OEM specifications. * FAA DOT Drug & Alcohol Testing Program requires an initial pre-employment drug test including a screen for THC, subject to quarterly Drug & BAT testing. Essential Mental/Physical Demands
Occasionally exposed to moving mechanical parts, fumes or airborne particles, and fumes from metal finishing chemicals. Temperatures in the work environment can fluctuate with outside weather conditions. Due to the manufacturing environment, Personal Protection Equipment is required including safety glasses, goggles, aprons, rubber boots, gloves, and respirator (provided by Company).
