Location: Hybrid Jacksonville, FL

Schedule: M-F 8a-5p

Salary: $18.28 - $22.86 per hour based on experience

Summary:

This role supports the onboarding and training of Expedited and Cold Chain Agents and BCOs (Owner Operator Drivers) by driving growth and strengthening relationships. By sourcing capacity, assisting with recruitment, and providing timely support, the position directly impacts operational efficiency and service quality. Additionally, distributing industry updates and maintaining training documentation ensures all parties stay informed, contributing to continuous improvement and business success.

Essential Requirements



  • Coordinate and support onboarding of Expedited and Cold Chain Agents and BCOs to Landstar.
  • Conduct training in internal and external tools for Expedited and Cold Chain services and maintain training records.
  • Implement and maintain a developmental program for new and existing Agents and BCOs, focusing on building strong relationships and proactively driving growth opportunities.
  • Build a capacity network by sourcing, advising, and forming relationships between BCOs and Third-Party Capacity providers with our agents.
  • Contribute to internal and external recruiting efforts for agents and BCOs.
  • Complete assigned random drug and alcohol testing.
  • Provide support to all parties via inbound and outbound calls and emails, in a timely and professional manner.
  • Distribute internal and external notifications on industry news, capacity updates, and events to ensure all parties are well-informed about Expedited and Cold Chain Services.
  • Maintain training and procedure documentation.
  • Additional tasks/duties to be assigned as needed.


Required Minimum Experience and Education:



  • High school diploma or general education degree (GED)
  • One year of experience in the transportation/logistics industry.


Preferred Experience and Education:



  • Bachelors' degree from four-year college or university, preferred
  • One year of Expedited or Temperature Controlled sales or operations experience
