The Research Technician is responsible for supporting scientific research projects by conducting experiments, collecting data, and maintaining laboratory equipment and supplies. This position requires a strong understanding of research methodologies and protocols, as well as the ability to collaborate effectively with researchers and contribute to the advancement of knowledge within the field. The Research Technician (RT) Limited Term will conduct electrophysiological, biomechanical, and behavioral experiments in the Agile Systems Lab using invertebrates. The Research Technician will collect and analyze experimental data in these contexts. The RT will assist invertebrate animal handling and maintenance of the experiment rig room, equipment, and computer code for conducting the experiments. Assist the PI in lab ordering and maintenance. Will help the PI facilitate a multi-university research team b providing logistic and development support. Renewable up to 2 years. |
