A BRIEF OVERVIEW
The Senior Logistics Admin is responsible for shipping, receiving, inventorying and maintaining the raw material resources and components for the plant. Material handlers perform various operations to include disposition of scrap and hazardous materials, operating heavy equipment and handling/positioning all materials within the plant. They will be cross trained to assist with various shipping and purchasing tasks that support the overall material and work order readiness of the plant. They must be able to multitask and complete operations without supervision.

WHAT YOU WILL DO

  • Printing inspection forms/drawings/checklists for work order releases
  • Conduct inventory cycle and spot counts
  • Request disposition of scrap material
  • Receive and inspect incoming raw materials
  • Use hand truck, pallet jack, carts and tables to safely transport product.
  • Perform shipping and receiving procedures
  • Maintain work area, tools and equipment in a clean and organized condition.
  • Detect & report faulty equipment, defective material and any unusual conditions to the department supervisor or lead
  • Perform weekly housekeeping per 5S schedule.
  • Follow work orders to fulfil the material requirements of the plant floor
  • Perform different types of operations based on manufacturing needs
  • Facilitate and communicate with cells/supervisors/purchasing
  • Load, unload and stage materials from carts and racks
  • Deliver material to cells
  • Maintain accurate inventory records and support timely material movement to meet production and customer delivery requirements.
  • Work with shipping, receiving, and warehousing teams to execute logistics processes in alignment with company standards.
  • Ensure shipping, receiving, and inventory records adhere to internal policies and regulatory requirements.
  • Identify inefficiencies in logistics processes and recommends solutions to improve accuracy, speed, and cost-effectiveness.
  • Act as a liaison between production, supply chain, and external logistics partners to resolve issues and support operational needs.

EDUCATION QUALIFICATIONS

  • High School Or Equivalent (Required)
  • Associates (Preferred)

EXPERIENCE QUALIFICATIONS

  • 2+ Years of Experience in Shipping, Receiving, and Packaging (Required)
  • Experience in Medical Device Manufacturing (Preferred)

LICENSES AND CERTIFICATIONS

  • Forklift Operator (Required)
  • Chauffeur License (Required)
  • Valid Driver's License (Required)

PAY RATE

For positions located in California, pay for this job type falls within the following range and varies based on scope and complexity of job responsibilities. $19.13 - $26.00
