Summary:

The Senior Director, Project Management Office (PMO) is responsible for leading the strategic direction, governance, and execution of enterprise-wide projects and programs within MaineHealth. This role ensures that projects align with MH strategic goals and facilitates strategic priorities. The Senior Director will oversee a team of project managers and coordinators, drive operational efficiencies, and enhance project outcomes through standardized methodologies and frameworks.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration, Healthcare Administration, Information Technology, or a related field required. Master's Degree preferred.
  2. License/Certifications: PMP (Project Management Professional) certification is required; Six Sigma Certification preferred.
  3. Experience: Minimum of 7+ years of progressive experience in project/program management, healthcare operations, or IT project leadership. Five years in a leadership role overseeing project teams and enterprise-level initiatives.
  4. Additional Skills/Requirements Required: Proficiency in project management tools (e.g., Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, Asana, or similar)
  5. Additional Skills/Requirements Preferred: Strong knowledge of healthcare regulatory requirements and digital transformation initiatives.Expertise in portfolio and program management methodologies (e.g., agile, SAFe, Waterfall, Lean).
