Main Duties & Responsibilities
At Omega, we specialize in high-precision manufacturing and

injection molding industry. We're currently looking for a skilled CNC Programmer to join
our growing team and help drive production excellence.
Position Summary:
The CNC Programmer will
be responsible for creating and optimizing programs for CNC machines to produce
high-precision parts. This role requires strong attention to detail, a solid
understanding of machining processes, and the ability to collaborate closely
with engineers, machinists, and quality teams..
Specific
Responsibilities:
Uphold and communicate the purpose, principles, and vision of Omega Plastics and TriMas
Develop and utilize best practices for cutter path development and machine processing
Communicate effectively with team members to address any programming, machining, quality or timeline issues
Identify opportunities for process improvements and implement best practices to enhance efficiency and reduce waste
Determine training necessary to stay updated on advancements in CNC technology and programming techniques
Provide technical support and guidance to operators as needed
Support Mold Makers / Tooling Engineers
Ensure compliance with industry standards, safety regulations, and quality assurance protocols
Awareness of client requirements including ISO 13485
Support Secondary department with setups and changeovers
Keep work areas clean and organized
Assist in training new machinists or programmers on machine operations, programming, and safety procedures
Other tasks as assigned by immediate supervisor and/or manager
Qualifications
2 Years'- CNC programmer experience
Work performed in an office
and manufacturing plant environment with exposure to noise and machinery.
Normal mobility to move around an office environment, able to conduct 8-12
hours of work at a computer. Frequently walks, stands, grips/grasps,
bends/stoops, crouches, and lifts and carries up to twenty-five (25) pounds
routinely throughout the day.
