Your responsibilities Position Overview: Growing the Polysius service business requires being closer to our customersboth physically and technically. Optimizing a service offering means balancing customer needs with the company's ability to provide solutions effectively. Achieving this balance in a meaningful and sustainable way requires time, trust, and expertise, which is why Polysius has created the role of Polysius Hub Manager (PHM). Essential Duties & Responsibilities: The PHM is responsible for growing the business of its allocated hub. The PHM will develop and implement a strategy to strengthen and mature relationships with Polysius customers. To increase the business within the HUB area, the PHM will need to enhance service delivery and find ways to deliver better results for our customers. He/she will need to ensure a creative value contribution supported by efficient coordination of the related service activities while balancing time spent at customer sites with Polysius' internal operational requirements. The PHM is responsible for developing and implementing a strategy to strengthen and grow relationships with customers in the hub to enhance service delivery and business growth for our customers, ensuring efficient coordination of service activities while balancing time spent at customer sites with Polysius' internal operational requirements. Engage in technical discussions with customers and PHCs, providing expert recommendations on the best course of action while exploring opportunities with local partners to reinforce our current customer relationships while also cultivating new customer relationships. This may include conducting site visits, technical assessments, and inspections, and issuing detailed reports and recommendations. The PHM will work closely with cross-functional teams to align service strategies with business goals and drive continuous improvement by identifying new service opportunities and refining service offerings. Other duties may be assigned as needed. Supervisory Responsibilities: This position will not have direct supervisory responsibilities. Your profile Required Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in engineering or related field, plus 5-6 years relevant experience; OR an equivalent combination of education and experience. Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite. Ability to quickly learn and use new software tools. Strong technical expertise in cement technology and process. Background in maintenance, mechanical engineering, or related fields. Experience working in cement OEMs or cement manufacturing, with a deep understanding of industry-specific challenges and solutions. Experience in heavy equipment maintenance Ability to establish credibility with customers by demonstrating practical, business-specific knowledge. Strong autonomy, decision-making, and critical thinking skills. Excellent communication and relationship-building capabilities. Preferred Requirements: MSHA certification Ability to read and interpret technical drawings.
