Job Summary:

We are seeking a highly experienced Release Train Engineer (RTE) with a robust background in the IT industry. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of managing complex projects, particularly in Geo special systems, cloud, and data migrations. This role requires excellent communication and collaboration skills, with a preference for candidates who have experience in the Energy and Utilities industry.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead and manage the Agile Release Train (ART) to ensure successful delivery of projects.
  • Facilitate ART events, including PI Planning, Scrum of Scrums, and System Demos.
  • Collaborate with Product Management, Product Owners, and other stakeholders to ensure alignment and transparency.
  • Identify and resolve impediments, manage risks, and drive continuous improvement.
  • Foster a culture of collaboration, innovation, and excellence within the team.

Qualifications:

  • Minimum of 8 years of experience as a Release Train Engineer.
  • Over 10+ years of experience in the IT industry.
  • Strong understanding of Agile methodologies and SAFe framework.
  • Experience with Geo special systems, cloud technologies, and data migrations.
  • Excellent communication, leadership, and collaboration skills.
  • Preferred experience in the Energy and Utilities industry.
  • SAFe Scrum Master Certification or RTE Certification is required.

Preferred Skills:

  • Proven ability to manage and lead cross-functional teams.
  • Strong problem-solving and decision-making skills.
  • Ability to work in a fast-paced and dynamic environment.
  • Experience with tools such as Jira, Confluence, and other Agile project management tools.

Compensation: - $90,000 to $140,000 +/- and this position are also eligible for Cognizant's discretionary annual incentive program, based on performance and subject to the terms of Cognizant's applicable plans. Application will be accepted till 05/26/2025
