IT Project Manager

Information Management Group, Inc. IMG is hiring an I.T. Project Manager to oversee our corporate managed service provider services. This is a full-time position with the opportunity for growth in other IT related areas (networks, cabling, and infrastructure management) in addition to occasional travel to support customer sites.

Key Responsibilities

Maintain and manage technical documentation related to network infrastructure and cybersecurity compliance (e.g., CMMC), ensuring accuracy and audit readiness.

• Support compliance initiatives by organizing materials, tracking updates, and collaborating with technical teams to document processes and policies.

• Assist in technical recruitment efforts by helping screen candidates for specialized roles, evaluating resumes for technical depth and relevance.

• Implement and enforce cybersecurity measures to meet government compliance standards (e.g., NIST 800-171, CMMC).

• Provide technical support to employees, resolve help desk tickets, and manage user accounts and access controls.

• Set up and manage data backup systems and disaster recovery plans to ensure data integrity and availability.

• Install, update, and track software and hardware assets, ensuring proper licensing and lifecycle management.

• Manage relationships with IT vendors and service providers, ensuring contract compliance and security standards are met.

Requirements

• 4+ years of technical experience, to include facility-related activities
• Experience conducting technical interviews with understanding of basic employee life cycle activities
• Excellent customer service and communication skills
• Experience with IT hardware devices including Servers, Switches, Routers, ISPs, UPS, laptops, monitors, VOIP phones, Printers, and Copiers
• Experience with IT software applications including Windows Server, SharePoint, Windows Office 365 Enterprise, and Website management
• Enjoy working in a small team environment
• Ability to travel on occasion as needed per customer request
• Ability to obtain Top Secret security clearance

Preferred Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree

• NIST 800-171 compliance experience

• Demonstrated knowledge and experience with CMMI and CMMC processes and compliance standards

• Active TS security clearance
