The Business Development ManagerII is accountable for maintaining sales coverage and developing the market for Incora products and services within an assigned geographical territory an extensive traveling; for collaborating with Inside/Outside Sales and branch offices in support of building and maintaining sales; and incorporating Incora sales initiatives, policies and programs in support of business plans and strategic objectives.

The Business Development Manager II will work independently to solidify customer relationships through sales calls, application and design assistance, and product demonstrations, through maintaining a strong market intelligence, product knowledge and awareness of local competitive conditions; and will provide prompt reporting to the Outside Sales Director.

About your role:

  • Understand and incorporate Incora philosophy, values, visions and Sales initiatives in all behaviors, practices and decisions
  • Actively visit customers, new or existing, either independently and/or in conjunction with other Incora functions
  • Sell complete Incora System (hardware, electronics, bearings, tooling products, inventory management programs/systems)
  • Meet and/or exceed annual goals (bookings, gross profit dollar and gross profit percentage)
  • Provide Sales, Marketing and Application Engineering coverage in an assigned area
  • Provide customers with basic design assistance and basic product demonstrations
  • Maintain professionalism, customer service and customer focus while building strategic partnerships with potential and existing Incora accounts
  • Develop and maintain partnering relationships with Incora vendor representatives
  • Work effectively with branch sales group assigned to representative's territory
  • Effectively communicate status of current customer activities and/or the status of new prospects, throughout Incora organization
  • Participate in joint sales calls with Outside Sales Director, as necessary
  • Submit periodic sales reports and expenses as required, and within adherence to applicable policies and budgetary allowances
  • Attend regularly scheduled and impromptu Sales meetings and company-sponsored training, meetings and events, as required

About you:

  • BA or BS degree in Marketing, Engineering or Business is preferred, or a combination of relevant education and experience.
  • 5 years minimum Aerospace Industry Outside Sales experience; or 5 years Incora Inside Sales experience required
  • Current contacts and working relationships within the aerospace/industrial market
  • Demonstrated basic to intermediate knowledge of Incora customers, product lines and sales initiatives
  • Proven knowledge of industry materials and specification requirements
  • Proven sales growth in territory
  • Must have knowledge of aerospace industry and good product knowledge with application engineering
  • Intermediate or advanced knowledge of industry materials and specifications
  • Excellent organizational and time-management skills
  • Clear and accurate documentation skills
  • Strong follow-through and perseverance to handle multiple tasks simultaneously
  • Excellent customer service skills with the ability to deal tactfully, confidently and ethically with both internal and external customers
  • Ability to be detailed oriented and perform in-depth research, if required
  • Strong competency working with integrated data systems, Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook and intermediate to advanced Word and Excel (i.e., spreadsheets, formulas, importing and exporting of files, as applicable) as required
  • Ability to travel extensively
