• What youll achieve
  As a Senior Software Engineer, you will design and develop sophisticated software and systems management firmware for Dell's storage products within the Infrastructure Solutions Group (ISG).
  
  You will:
  
• Contribute to the design and architecture of new or re-engineered software/storage environments
  
• Prepare written software/storage specifications for sophisticated products from architectural diagrams and documents
  
• Build and review design, functional, technical and/or user documentation, as needed
  
• Develop, review and implement test strategies for software products and systems

Essential Requirements
5+ years related experience or equivalent skill; must include experience with server, storage, networking and client technologies

Proficiency in C/C++ with a good understanding of Linux operating systems

Solid understanding of hardware and software interactions

• Insight into software architectures and applications
  
• Strong debugging skills for simple programs using either written or verbal design specifications
  
  Desirable Requirements
  
• Bachelors degree

Knowledge of Python

Compensation

Dell is committed to fair and equitable compensation practices. The salary range for this position is $145,000 - $187,000.
