Description

Perform maintenance trade tech work including general maintenance and repairs for facilities including plumbing, electrical, basic carpentry, heating and cooling, grounds maintenance, and other building systems. Reports to the maintenance supervisor.

Typical Duties and Responsibilities:



  • Repair various fixtures and hardware such as doors, windows, minor appliances, office equipment, etc. Report to the maintenance supervisor.
  • Inspects assigned areas on a routine basis and performs maintenance as needed to keep the campus in functioning and serviceable condition.
  • Completes daily, weekly, or monthly checklists or pre-scheduled building and equipment maintenance procedures.
  • Reports on any major maintenance needs and recommends corrective action as appropriate.
  • Demonstrates efficient and safe use of equipment and tools
  • Demonstrates commitment to professional growth and competence by adherence to component and departmental training commitments
  • Adheres to Lipscomb's safety policies and procedures
  • Maintains a friendly, efficient, positive customer service demeanor toward all employees, students and co-workers


Experience:



  • 5+ years of experience
