Data Engineering Specialist

Design, implement, and support full life cycle data engineering projects for current and future Summary of Operations application and other large Planning applications involving large data ingestion, persistence, transformation, and retrieval. Design, develop and maintain Oracle, MemSQL, and Python code in an event driven distributed architecture. Maintain the dataflow pipeline between Planning databases and other data stores such as Primo, ODM and Accounting data. Responsible for resolving the data quality issues in an effective and timely manner by working cross-functionally with other teams.

MINIMUM EDUCATION: Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or closely-related degree field.

MINIMUM EXPERIENCE: Five (5) years of experience as Data Engineer.

ALTERNATE EDUCATION: Master's Degree in Computer Science, Computer Engineering, or closely- related degree field.

ALTERNATE EXPERIENCE: Two (2) years of experience as Data Engineer.

SPECIAL REQUIREMENTS: The five (5) years of required experience with a Bachelor's or the two (2) years of experience with a Master's degree must have included: experience in event driven and cloud-based architectures; design, implementation and support of full life-cycle data engineering projects; and use of Python, .NET, Node, Java and experience with SQL and other data querying languages.
