Credence Management Solutions, LLC (Credence) is seeking a Data Science Manager to support HQ AFMC/PKN at Wright-Patterson Air Force Base, Ohio.

HQ AFMC/PKN is the Process Management Division within the Contracting Directorate at HQ AFMC. The Process Management Division is responsible for functional oversight of AFMC contracting business systems and support of SAF/AQC's efforts to modernize business systems across the AF. It serves as the AFMC lead to SAF/AQCI's modernization initiatives including the next generation contract writing system, Contracting Information Technology (CON-IT). In addition, it works closely with SAF/AQCI to gather functional requirements and support development and testing of those requirements for CON-IT and the other modernization initiatives.



Responsibilities include, but are not limited to the duties listed below

    Gather business requirements, analyze source systems, define underlying data sources and transformation requirements, design data models, and develop metadata for data analysis and visualization.
  • Acquire and analyze data and metrics across the enterprise to learn how they can be incorporated into data visualizations and dashboards.
  • Collaborate with business areas and project teams to elicit, identify, prioritize, and document data visualization and business intelligence requirements.
  • Serve as a functional and technical data visualization and business intelligence subject matter expert.
  • Translate business analysis and business needs into prototypes concepts of reports and dashboards and contribute to design and visualization best practices.
  • Utilize business intelligence tools to take dashboard requirements and develop deliverable solutions.
  • Create and updates Python scripts for data translation from multiple sources.
  • Serve as a functional and technical Robotic Process Automation (RPA) subject matter expert.
  • Document data acquisition, data management and data governance processes.
  • Make and implement process improvements and efficiencies.
  • Create training materials and user guides.
  • Conduct group and one-on-one training sessions with end users.


Education, Requirements and Qualifications

  • Clearance: Secret or ability to obtain a Secret
  • BS/BA and twelve (6) years of relevant experience or,
  • Six (6) years of relevant work experience
  • Must be knowledgeable of federal and department e-business and contracting systems, including but not limited to:
    • ConWrite
    • Automated Contract Preparation System (ACPS)
    • CON-IT, Advana
    • CDO-VALT
    • Program Management Resource Tools (PMRT)
    • Federal Procurement Data System-Next Generation (FPDS-NG)
    • Procurement Integrated Enterprise Environment (PIEE) suite
    • Electronic Document Access (EDA)
    • Wide-Area-Workflow (WAWF)
    • ABSS
    • ERP systems
    • SQL
    • Python
    • UiPath
    • Qlik Sense
    • Qlik View
    • Tableau
    • Power BI
    • Power Apps
    • Power Automate
  • Extensive knowledge of the federal acquisition process including in- depth experience with the Federal Acquisition Regulation (FAR), Defense and Air Force Supplements (DFARS and DAFFARS), as well as DoD and AF acquisition instructions.
  • Minimum of ten years of combined technical experience in (a) field/fields of specialized expertise supporting transformation of business systems via IT enablement as indicated in the areas of support listed below. Contractor personnel shall be knowledgeable in enterprise software development and the acquisition life cycle with applied knowledge of Government program management skills and document preparation. Contractor personnel shall be able to use Government-provided office automation tools.
