Position Summary

Odyssey Systems has an exciting opportunity for an experienced Senior Program Manager supporting a high-priority acquisition mission within the AFLCMC/HNA, located at Hanscom AFB, Bedford, MA. The Aerial Networks Division's mission is to acquire, field, and sustain networks, integrated information systems, enterprise services, and applications that support the Global Information Grid (GIG). These capabilities enable communication across land, naval, air, and space warfare domains and are critical to ensuring joint and coalition interoperability.

This is a full time position located at Hanscom AFB, Bedford, MA.



Responsibilities

In this Advisory and Assistance Services (A&AS) role, you will provide expert-level support to Department of Defense (DoD) programs by assisting government leadership with decision-making, planning, and execution throughout the acquisition lifecycle. You will apply your technical and/or professional expertise to ensure compliance with applicable policies and regulations, contribute to mission success, and help deliver critical capabilities to the warfighter.

Duties include, but not limited to:

    Lead and manage program activities supporting Foreign Military Sales (FMS) and domestic USAF acquisition programs.

  • Support the development of Acquisition Strategy Plans (ASP), Source Selection strategies, Program Management Reviews (PMR), Milestone Reviews (MS), and statutory reporting.

  • Serve as a liaison between AFLCMC/HNI leadership, PEOs, SAF/AQ, and external stakeholders to ensure alignment of acquisition strategies with organizational goals.

  • Coordinate cross-functional teams to execute high-visibility, multi-national, and domestic acquisition programs.

  • Manage budgets, cost, schedule, performance baselines, and oversee risk management strategies.

  • Develop and present high-quality briefings, reports, and acquisition documentation to senior leadership, including MDA briefings and PEO updates.

  • Lead proposal development, contract negotiations, and vendor engagement to support acquisition efforts.

  • Engage with international partners, vendors, and U.S. government agencies to navigate disclosure policies, acquisition planning, and integration strategies.

  • Provide mentorship and leadership to program teams including civilian and military personnel.



Qualifications

Citizenship: Must be a US citizen

Minimum Required Qualifications

Clearance: Must have an Active Secret Clearance

Education: BA/BS degree

Years of Experience: 10+ years of progressive DoD acquisition experience, including at least 3 years directly supporting the DoD

Preferred Qualifications

Education: Master's degree

Technical Skills

  • DoDI 5000.02, AFI 63-101/20-101

  • DAES, MAR, and other statutory acquisition reporting

  • Integrated Master Plan (IMP) / Integrated Master Schedule (IMS)

  • Quantitative program analysis techniques

  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office and acquisition documentation tools

Interpersonal Skills

  • Strong oral and written communication skills

  • Ability to work independently and as part of an integrated product team

  • Confident briefing senior-level leadership

  • Problem-solving and analytical mindset
