The Manager, IT Product Management is responsible for steering the IT product management team toward the successful delivery of high-quality technology products that resonate with the company's strategic goals. This position entails leading and mentoring product owners and ensuring their product roadmaps are not only aligned with the enterprise strategy but also responsive to business needs and operational efficiencies. This role contributes significantly to the overall success of the organization, by fostering a collaborative environment and focusing on strategic alignment and optimizing Concentra's internal systems and applications to deliver maximum value. The manager will work closely with crossfunctional teams; including IT, Operations, Sales, business units, and at times customers to ensure product development aligns with business objectives while fostering innovation and continuous improvement.
Responsibilities
Ensure product strategies align with overall business objectives while effectively coordinating with senior product management leaders on sequencing, dependencies and conflicts
- Develop, implement and maintain standardized policies and procedures to ensure compliance with product management standard operating procedures (SOP)
- Collaborate with stakeholders to refine processes, improve efficiency, and drive continuous improvement while maintaining alignment with organizational objectives
- Collaborate with stakeholders to develop a strategy for end-to-end testing to ensure all business requirements are met for a successful release
- Engage regularly with business owners and key stakeholders to gather feedback on assigned Product Owners, identify performance gaps, and address concerns and track progress through measurable KPIs, providing coaching and support to enhance Product Owner effectiveness and optimize product delivery
- Provide direction and leadership to a team of Product Owners, fostering a culture of collaboration, innovation, and accountability by creating and conducting regular audits to assess adherence, identify gaps, and enforce corrective actions
- Ensure Product Owners (POs) operate at a performance level by measuring levels of each colleague by creating customized growth plans with actionable approach
- Work in partnership with Product Owners to define product vision and roadmaps, ensuring they are aligned with enterprise-wide roadmaps
- Define methods to refine and prioritize ideas that support Concentra's Strategic Vision
- Establish and facilitate Product Owner meetings, focusing on product design and risk management
- Facilitate communication between Product Owners and key stakeholders to gather requirements and feedback
- Ensure stakeholder needs are understood and addressed in product development
- Oversees the "Set" phase in the Ready Set Go (RSG) process by reviewing and delegating intake requests to appropriate Product Owners
- Coordinate with Product Owners on initiatives that require cross-team collaboration and evaluate phases, timelines, and help identify scope increase
- Provide guidance, mentorship, and professional development opportunities for Product Owners helping them enhancetheir skills in product management, stakeholder engagement, and agile methodologies
- Promote a culture of decision-making, leveraging analytics to improve product performance and user satisfaction
- Liaison between Product Owners and other departments, facilitating alignment and ensuring clear communication across the organization
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders in cross-functional business and technology leadership
- Partner with Product Owners to review/write User Stories in agile toolset and define acceptance criteria to ensure "development readiness" and attend Scrum ceremonies to provide input, guidance, and leadership for Product Owners
- Develop training programs and frameworks to nurture and support new and existing Product

Qualifications
- Education Level: Bachelor's Degree ; Major: Computer Science, Information Management Systems
- Professional Scrum Product Owner (PSPO), Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO), Certified SAFe Product Manager (SAFe POPM) or willingness to complete upon hire
- Experience in lieu of required education is acceptable
- 5+ years working in an applicable field or leading a team for the supporting product or directly supporting the area of the business that uses the product from a development or delivery perspective
- Operating in or interacting with teams using Agile methodologies, ideally Scrum or SAFe is
preferred - Dictating and/or capturing business requirements, ideally in the form of User Stories
- Experience working with technology teams especially digital product development
- Analyzing data to determine impact and make informed decisions

- Translation between business and technology teams in a liaison role with the goal of shared understanding by avoiding jargon or tech speak is preferred
