Job Summary and Responsibilities

Summary: The Business Development Manager - Security will be responsible for new business development with vendors and customers for security, access control, video systems, fire alarm systems, audio/visual and voice data. They are also responsible for lead generation, communication, and account management. Day-to-day tasks will include identifying new business opportunities, generating leads, managing client accounts, and facilitating communication between internal teams and clients.

ESSENTIAL DUTIES & RESPONSIBILITIES include the following. Other duties may be assigned:

  • Lead Generation & Prospecting: Actively seek new business opportunities by identifying potential clients, researching market trends and engaging with prospects., Client
  • Relationship Management: Maintain and nurture relationships with existing clients, addressing their needs and ensuring customer satisfaction.
  • Sales & Marketing Support: Support sales teams in developing and implementing sales strategies, creating proposals and presentations and managing customer interactions.,
  • Market Research & Analysis: Conduct market research to understand customer needs, identify emerging trends and analyze competitor activity.,
  • Business Strategy Development: Collaborate with other departments to develop and execute strategic business plans.,
  • Data Analysis & Reporting: Analyze sales data, tracking performance and generate reports to inform decision-makers
  • Communication & Presentation: Effectively communicating with clients, stakeholders and internal teams through various channels, including presentations and proposals.


Qualifications

POSITION QUALIFICATIONS/ REQUIREMENTS

  • Bachelor's degree or industry experience equivalent.
  • 5 Years minimum in sales, marketing or related fields with a concentration in New Business Development and Lead Generation skills in Access Control, CCTV, Security Systems, Voice/Data, Networking, Fire Alarm Systems and Audio/Visual
  • Experience in Corporate, Educational, Health Care, Government, Data Centers
  • Demonstrate a history of achieving sales targets and driving revenue
  • Familiarity with Access Control, Camera Systems, Security Systems, Fire Alarm Systems, Voice/Data and Audio/Visual Systems.
  • Strong Communication Skills
  • Familiar with Microsoft Office Suite, Salesforce and other industry software.
  • Strong Business acumen
  • Account Management expertise
  • Experience in client relationship management and sales
  • Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment
  • Excellent presentation and negotiation skills

Pay Range in the United States: $80K - $130K based upon geography, skills, and experience. May also be eligible for performance incentive opportunity based on company and individual goals and performance
