The Project Manager II manages all aspects of projects for an organization. Handles moderately complex issues and problems and refers more complex issues to higher level staff. Possesses solid working knowledge of subject matter.

Primary Duties

  • Coordinates the work activities for multiple functions to ensure satisfying delivery.
  • Responsible for all aspects of the project lifecycle: planning, scope definition, design, execution, and delivery.
  • Tracks progress against milestones, budgetary guidelines, or other performance indicators, and prepares reports to Senior Management.
  • Assists with the selection, negotiation, and managing of all activities regarding external consultants or vendors.
  • Monitor all budgeted project expenditures.

Additional Responsibilities

  • Establish communication calendar to update stakeholders on the progress of the project.
  • Interface with project personnel on all routine matters pertinent to contractual obligations.
  • Perform other related job duties as assigned.

Qualifications: Education, Experience, and Certification(s)

  • High School diploma or General Educational Development (GED) required.
  • Bachelor's degree in related field preferred.
  • 2-4 years of related work experience required.
  • Security Clearance and background check requirements, if applicable are determined by the contract.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Great problem-solving and analytical skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple activities and prioritize multiple competing tasks.
  • Ability to set priorities for self, team, and peers, and adjust when priorities change.
  • Proficient in Microsoft Office skills, and the ability to become familiar with corporate specificprograms and software such as ZOOM and Microsoft Teams.
  • Ability to solve practical problems andadapt to new information and guidance quickly.
  • Great verbaland writtencommunication skills.
  • Detail-oriented and able to carry out work with the highest levels of accuracy.
  • Ability to work independently and as part of a team.
  • Great customer service skills.
  • Knowledge of project management, timelines, deadlines, and follow through on finished products.
